Have you ever wondered..."Am I doing enough tummy time?" "Is my child meeting developmental milestones?" "How can I best play with my baby to help them develop?" If so, then PlaySmart Babies may be right for you! PlaySmart Babies was created by a pediatric occupational therapist to take the guesswork out of early development. This caregiver-and-infant class gives parents clear, practical ways to support their baby's movement, sensory development, and regulation. Using play that fits naturally into everyday routines. This not a playgroup and not therapy. It's an expert led, educational class designed to empower caregivers with confidence, understanding, and tools they can use right away. What you'll learn in PlaySmart Babies A 6 week expert led class for caregivers and babies (0 - 12 months) Weeks 1-2 The Foundation • Developmental Milestones - ranges not timelines • Sensory Systems-their role in movement and regulation • Primitive reflexes- what are they and why do they matter • Well-child Check-ups- good questions to ask your doctor Weeks 3-4 Purposeful Play and Movement • Play Activities - supporting movement and sensory development • Containers Pros and Cons- bouncers, jumpers, seats • Play Positions - supporting tummy time, rolling and crawling Weeks 5 - 6 Routines, Regulation, and Confidence • Building Routines - how build a routine that supports babies development • Engaging Play- support regulation and engagement through play activities • Sleep Habits- develop good sleep habits to support daily function • Putting It All Together- how to use the information taught in way that works for your family By the end of this course, caregivers should feel • More confident playing with their baby • Less overwhelmed by milestones • More comfortable supporting movement and floor play • Better prepared to support future motor development

Cancellation Policy
Because our classes are intentionally kept small (limited to 6 participants) to ensure a high-quality, hands-on experience, we have the following cancellation policy. Full Refund: Cancellations made 14 days or more before the class start date are eligible for a full refund. Class Credit: Cancellations made between 14 days and 48 hours before the class start date are eligible for a credit toward another class offered by our practice. Credits must be used within 6 months and are non-transferable. No Refunds: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class start date are not eligible for a refund or credit. Once Class Has Started: No refunds or credits are available once a class session has begun. We appreciate your understanding—our limited class sizes mean that last-minute cancellations are difficult to fill and directly impact our ability to offer these specialized programs. Thank you for supporting a small, therapist-led practice!
